About Hazel Grove B&B

Hazel Grove B&B is situated in a peaceful unspoilt countryside, nestled between two of the finest fishing lakes in Ireland - Lough Corrib & Lough Mask and the Maam Turk & Connemara mountains. The surrounding area is a beautiful mixture of rolling green hills, Limestone Landscape, and Woodlands, with its wide variety of flora and fauna, waiting to be explored, or enjoyed while relaxing in our large landscaped garden with panoramic views.

The historic village of Cong, is only three minutes drive from our B&B. Visit the Cong Abbey, founded in the year 628 A.D. and "Ashford Castle Hotel" over looking Lough Corrib lake, and islands with its magnificent gardens and forest. The famous "Quiet Man" movie was filmed in Cong in 1951. You can visit the Quiet Man Museum, and many of the film locations. Take a peaceful walk in the forest by the rivers and lake, and enjoy the wildlife.

We are conveniently located for Hill Walking and Mountain climbing, with a magnificent view of the Lakes and a wonderful variety of wild flowers and shrubs.
